One Of Dalkhola's Businessman Murdered

Om Prakash Lunawat a businessman from Dalkhola was missing since 4th Oct. morning from Purnea more. Peoples were thinking it must be kidnapping but relatives of him didnt get a single call from kidnappers. Dalkhola police assured that they will try thier best to find out Om prakash. But Next Morning On 5th Oct. Om Prakash was found dead in a deserted place along NH31 near Islampur this morning with his hands and legs tied up with ropes and a towel around the neck.

Police suspect Omprakash Lunawat, 42, was strangled to death.

Police sources said Omprakash had left his shop in Dalkhola yesterday afternoon and was supposed to visit Bahadurganj, 55km away in Bihar, for business purposes.

"His employees have told us that he left for Bahadurganj around 12 noon. One of his relatives had seen him near the railway level-crossing at Dalkhola. In the evening, as he did not return home, his family came to his shop and he was not found. They called on his cellphone and got no response. Later, they filed a missing diary with us," a police officer said.

This morning, people saw a body at Panjipara High School, 50km from Dalkhola, and informed the police.

After sometime, the businessman's family members reached the spot and identified the body.

"His hands and legs were tied up with two ropes and there was a gamcha wrapped around his neck. We suspect that he was strangled," a police source said.

Panjipara is 40km from Raiganj.

According to the police, more than one person was involved in the murder.

"We found his cellphone on the spot. We will check his call records and other data to obtain information about his whereabouts and people with whom he had communicated yesterday afternoon," said the police officer.

The police have spoken to Omprakash's brother, Arvind, who said the deceased had received a call on his cellphone yesterday morning.

"Omprakash appeared agitated and had an altercation with the caller over some payment. However, his brother could not provide us with more details," a police source said.

Omprakash is survived by his wife and two sons.

He and his two other brothers together ran their shop at Purnia More in Dalkhola. Omprakash was known for organising blood donation camps and the president of Dalkhola unit of the Marwari Yuva Mancha.

"He was associated with a number of voluntary organisations and used to do several social works. We are surprised to hear that he has been murdered," Lala Mohania, a member of Marwari Yuva Mancha, said.

Pawan Agarwal, the president of the Dalkhola Byabsayee Samiti, has expressed concern over the case.

"A businessman went missing and was found murdered later. We are deeply worried. Police should carry out a proper investigation and arrest the culprits," Agarwal said. Amit Kumar Bharat Rathod, the superintendent of police, North Dinajpur, said the investigators were trying to solve the case.
"We have registered a murder case. Our officers are working on certain inputs. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained," said the SP.

[Murderers Arrested]

The murderer of an soft hearted and well natured person named Om Prakash a.k.a Munna, has been arrested.

Murderer name is Kalu, who is a businessman of Chips and Sands near Matihari, Dalkhola.

And one of his brother.

And another person named MD Rezaullah who is also a businessman has been arrested cause Kalu said that Rezaullah was also indulge in this murder.

But most of the witnesses said that the day when this murder happened Rezaullah was working in his godown in Farsara.

One of a worker said us "Din k 2 baje jab hum khana kha kar kaam pe wapis tab se shaam k 6 baje tak Rezaullah hum log k sath tha"

And according to the confession of Kalu murder was done at around 4 O'Clock  in the evening.

So we are yet to know about Rezaullah was with them or not.

Reason of murder was Om Prakash owes 15,00,000 ₹ from Kalu. And Kalu thought that murdering him will allow him to not to pay that sum of amount.
